Important note on US sales tax
Selling into the US means you may need to collect and remit state sales tax once you cross certain sales thresholds in a given state (called "economic nexus" — thresholds vary by state, commonly around $100,000 in sales or 200 transactions per year). Shopify Tax can help calculate this automatically once configured under Settings → Taxes and duties, but registering with individual states once you hit their thresholds is your responsibility. This is worth flagging to an accountant once you start seeing real US sales volume.
